Sync YouTube Creator Data

Overview

YouTube Creator Data Sync allows your campaign videos to be linked directly to their respective campaigns on partnrUP. This helps track video performance and share YouTube metrics with the brand.

By linking your YouTube video to a campaign, you allow YouTube to associate the video with the correct brand partnership.

YouTube Video Linking

Upload your campaign deliverable video to your YouTube channel. During the upload process, YouTube may prompt you to identify whether your video includes a brand partnership or paid promotion.

Select the Correct Brand Deal

When prompted, select the relevant brand deal using the campaign code provided for your campaign. This associates your YouTube video with the correct campaign and allows YouTube to track the partnership.

Obtain Your Campaign Code

Retrieve your unique campaign code from the campaign screen on partnrUP. Use this code when uploading your video and selecting the corresponding brand deal on YouTube. This helps ensure your video is correctly associated with the campaign.

Check Your YouTube Video Status in Contract Tracker

Once your video has been linked, you can check its status and performance details in your campaign's Contract Tracker. Under Social Media Posting, expand the relevant deliverable to view the YouTube linking details.

The following information will be displayed:

  • Deal completed: Indicates that the YouTube video linking process has been completed.

  • Videos Linked: Shows the number of videos linked against the required number (for example, 1/1).

  • Your linked videos: Displays your linked YouTube video and channel name, along with available performance metrics.

  • Insights shared: Indicates that YouTube is sharing performance data for your linked video.

You can view available metrics such as video views, likes, and comments directly in this section.

Check Your Submitted YouTube Video

Below the linking details, you'll find the YouTube Video section. This displays your submitted YouTube video URL along with its validation status.

A Valid status indicates that your submitted video link has passed validation.

  • No. Linking your video for YouTube reporting and submitting your campaign deliverable on partnrUP are separate actions. Make sure you also submit your content through the campaign as required.
